Marta Ryczko Headshots

Marta Ryczko is a talented designer, creative director, and illustrator from Toronto who was looking for a fresh set of headshots for her brand and social profiles. Marta creates incredibly fun and unique designs for restaurants, brands, events, and publications. Marta and I have worked together on various projects since 2015, including her print for Worker Bee Supply, the Pixel & Bristle design market, and other client work. However, this shoot was extra special because I got to create images for Marta to use for her own projects.

We decided to split the shoot in two, doing a short studio session on a poppy yellow backdrop, and then headed outside to take advantage of the golden afternoon light and shoot around Queen St W. in Parkdale. I was excited to finally shoot some portraits against a mint wall that I’d had my eye on for a while and I loved how Marta’s olive green jacket looked with it!
